String installation that was installed at the Katzen Art Museum.
The string was installed 8 feet above the ground. From below the piece looked simply like a flat plane of string. However, when above the string it looked like a "landscape." The best experience that viewers had was when they stuck their heads through the string (bringing them to eye level with the string, then just past eye level above the string, then back to eye level with the string). I developed multiple bridges that would allow viewers to gain asses to this perspective. With multiple bridges the viewers heads also became part of the landscape to other viewers on different bridges. The bridges were also different heights and induced a different experience.
